The District at Green Valley Ranch is the first metropolitan lifestyle center to open in the Las Vegas area, close to the Strip with your Las Vegas car rental. A Grand Opening

The first phase of the District at Green Valley Ranch was completed in 2004 and is located on the west side of the Green Valley parkway. Here, you will find fifty shops and restaurants after you leave your Las Vegas car rental. Above the shops, there are quaint apartments and lofts, adding to the downtown atmosphere that they are looking to portray. Finally, there is a three-story office building.

The second part of the District is found on the east side of the Parkway. It has recently opened. The Cheesecake Factory was the first business to open here. There is also Whole Foods Market, the world's largest retailer of natural and organic foods. Many other lifestyle merchants have since moved to the area and are setting up a variety of businesses.

When you come to the District there are many places to spend a little cash. Many store have already opened here, with more scheduled to open in the near future. Some of the stores that are here include Ann Taylor, Aveda, Bling Bling, Brighton Collectibles, Cachet, Flights of Fancy, Indulge Fashions, and many more. There are also a variety of tasty treats, like Ben & Jerry's or the Cheesecake Factory to snake on. Heath food nuts will also get a kick out of the Whole Foods Market, Gelato, and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

What you need to know

The hours for many of the shops in The District are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. However, some of the restaurants and stores are open for different hours to suit their business needs, including extended hours or 24-hour operations. Getting to The District with your Las Vegas car rental is easy. It is located at 2240 Village Walk Drive in Henderson. To get there from the Strip, take the I-15 south to the I-215. Then take the I-215 east to the Green Valley Parkway. Go south on the Green Valley parkway and turn right onto Village Walk Drive. Parking is available for your Las Vegas car rental.
