Las Vegas Car Rentals and the Revere Golf Club

As you walk down a long, winding path toward the 9th hole, you see someone you think looks familiar. Could this really be him? All your life you only wished you could be as good as he was. He was a U.S. Open winner and a champion of the Masters, and you have no idea what to say to him. Should you ask for his autograph, or maybe get a picture taken together? This is the only chance you will ever get to meet Billy Casper, the great golfer and the designer of this course. On what course could you possibly have this opportunity? At the Revere Golf Club, Las Vegas car rental vacationers can enjoy a real Troon Golf experience.

Inspired by Paul Revere

With 36 challenging and thrilling holes, Revere Golf Club was built to honor the legendary Paul Revere. This course winds its way around foothills, canyons, mountains and water, offering breathtaking views in the process. There are two courses that you can choose to play, the Concord and the Lexington. Feeling brave? Why not try both and see how you do? The Concord is 7,034 yards with amazing Bermuda fairways. The Lexington is a bit bigger at 7,143 yards and both courses are 72-pars. The course was designed by two people who really know their golf, so that you can have the best experience possible. Billy Casper and Greg Nash deliberately placed hazards in certain areas to make the risks of this course even more adventurous.

And the Award Goes To...

Revere Golf Club has been the recipient of many awards that may be of interest to Las Vegas car rental customers. This course has been named the "2005 Facility of the Year", "2005 Best Par 5 in Las Vegas" and is said to have the best "19th Hole". Golf Digest called it one of the "Best Places to Play" and Nevada Magazine said it was the "Best of Nevada". With all of these impressive awards, how could you not want to test your skills on this renowned course?

What's in a Name?

Las Vegas car rental customers will enjoy learning the names of each hole on the course. Every hole is appropriately named for the situation of that hole. The very first hole is called "Midnight Ride" because of the intense challenges it creates for the golfers. It is an S-shaped fairway that is narrow with many bunkers. The tee is elevated and displays a downhill shot. Watch out for the sand to the left and the trees on the right! Hole 2 is called "Old Ironside" and it is placed in a rock canyon and begins, again, from an elevated tee (as most of the holes do). Another interesting hole that is perfect for picture taking is hole 7, "King's Chapel". Las Vegas car rental customers should be sure to bring a camera to capture this desert area with a running waterfall right behind the green. Don't let it distract you from your putt though! "Longfellow", "Lantern's Light" and "Castle Island" are other holes on this course, but you will have to find out for yourself how they got their names.

Be sure to book a tee time at the Revere Golf Club during your upcoming Las Vegas car rental vacation, you can book up to 60 days ahead. Prices for the Concord course range from $55-$200, depending on the season. Prices for the Lexington course vary from $55-$240, also depending on the season. The club requires collared shirts and no denim. With your greens fees, you will receive a cart, yardage book, divot tool, tees and ball markers. Feel free to take as much practice as you need with your unlimited practice balls.
