The dark side of Star Trek is showcased in the Borg Invasion 4D ride at the Las Vegas Hilton. Edgier than most Star Trek productions before it, the BORG ride uses sight, sound and touch to scary visitors silly. Unsuspecting Las Vegas car rental riders are transported into the dimension of BORG, a powerful civilization of cybernetically engineered beings. Riders begin their journey inside a research facility which is unexpectedly attacked by a pack of angry BORGS. The experience is all too real thanks to the world's first multiple-angle 3D technology. 3D effects bombard riders from the front, overhead and both sides, terrifying US Las Vegas Car Rentals' customers stiff. The BORG Invasion 4D is also the first worldwide attraction to use 2K digital cinema projections, producing some of the clearest digital projections on planet. Other effects on the ride include atmospheric and hydraulic effect, physical probes, pneumatic actuators and a wide array of transducers. The ride lasts for about 7 minutes and 30 seconds.
From the moment you take a seat in the Klingon Encounter ride, you're aware that this ride is quite unlike any other simulator ride on the market. Designed with the only six simulator theater in the world, the Klingon Encounter leads travelers on a frightful adventure aboard the USS Enterprise. Riders are attacked by Klingon ships as they attempt to capture the "ancestor" of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, who has apparently disguised himself in amongst your tour group. Customers of US Las Vegas Car Rentals are treated to a number of video appearances by "Next Generation" stars Jonathan Frakes and LeVar Burtor. The entire ride lasts for about 4 minutes.
Aside from the two rides, the Star Trek Experience also features a souvenir photo shop and the Quark's Bar and Restaurant.
